I was coming back from wheeling on the highway earlier today, Felt some vibrations on the way there and the way back. When i let off the accel, it kind of thudded and the vibration stopped. I know I'm due to grease my shafts and Ujoints, but I'm starting to wonder if my transmission is on one of its last legs. Is everybody elses W56 really loud in 5th?

 

Mine is loud in 5th and 3rd.

 

From what I can remember being a kid, Mine has always been loud in 5th as far back as I can remember. I think I'll just grease everything and see if it goes away, I can't Imagine it being a bad joint...seems like I checked em and they were fine not too long ago.
