How do I get the rear power window motor out?
#3
There should be 3 screws, and yes it can be removed without removing the regulator. If the door is in the closed position and can't be opened be sure to brace the window up before removal of the motor, it also helps to unhook the tensioner spring.

The motor/window actually works perfectly. A short time ago, the window wasn't working.
Guy I bought it from had "hotwired" in some jumper wires so the motor would work. He jumped into the circuit just downstream from the electric motor. He kinda "boogered" the wires up jumping into the circuit.
I finally traced the problem down to a missing bolt holding the topper down.......installed a bolt into that particular location, and that solved the problem.
I need to remove the motor so I can repair the wires the correct way and do a good job repairing them.
So you're saying there are 3 screws that hold that motor in? I only see two.
