Question help on bumper fabrication

I'm ready to build bumpers for my 87 truck. Ive had good amount of welding experiance, but not much fab work. I have access to a pipe bender and every thing I need. I want to use round tubing, because I have access to the material FREE!!! Does anyone have advice how to mock up a pattern to get started without wasting time and materials? I'm starting on the rear, since their is less bending and alignment issues than in the front. I could use some example pictures if possible,
Thanks for your time!

If this is your first foray into bumper fabrication I would go simple. Remove bumper and brackets from truck, tack weld brackets to fixture (table) (allows for perfect spacing)and then measure bumper and remove. Cut tubing to same width as bumper and then weld to bumper brackets. Cheap easy and looks mean. Double them for better visuals. Good luck.
