How do I force my truck into open loop mode?

I'm having some problems with my 91 truck and can't find the problem.
So being as it runs really well when you first start it untill it warms up I'd like to keep it in open loop mode. So the big question is:

How do I force my truck to run in open loop mode so the computer is running off default fuel tables and timing curves instead of reading the sensors?

Will unplugging the O2 force it? etc...

Are there any write ups on how the Toyota fuel injection works?
