signal wont turn off with turn
ok so whats wrong with my truck? my turn signal doesnt turn off when i turn.... it does sometimes, but most times it jsut stays on until i manually turn it off

There's usually a little plastic ratchet thingy in the switch that turns them off, sounds like yours is worn out. Don't know if you can fix it without getting a new switch.

so its actually part of the switch? the part that is connected to the signal stalk? i beleive its the multi switch or something right?

so this cam is indeed part of the switch and not part of the column correct?
if i replace the switch i should be good to go....

Just something to think about, still probably replacing the switch would fix it. Today I was fooling around in my dash, and had to go somewhere. I was driving around without the center console on (without the hazards switch connected) and I did not have any blinkers at all. Pertaining to your problem, my turn signal stalk did not go back into the neutral position after I turned ( its a habit of mine to use the turn signal, by the second turn I made, I realized that the stalk had not moved back). I would believe that the two problems go hand in hand, since you have signals, my 'problem' might mean nothing. phew, that was a long post, lol, I need to get off of here, its 12.30

Pull the steering wheel and check the cam and where it hits the switch. Likely the piece on the cam that hits the lever on the switch and/or the lever on the switch might have broken off. The cam just lifts off, so would be the easiest to replace.
