Header and High flow exhaust

I have installed an LC engineering header and high flow cat and muffler.

I have a CEL that comes and goes now. Error 71 ( EGR related I think)

But I was just reading another post and saw something about installing High flow exhaust on these engines will cause the CEL light to come on reporting an 02 problem.

Does eveyone have this issue?

I wish I had know this prior to forking over all that money for a header and exhaust

Just wanted to get everones thoughts on this issue.

Thanks

Joel

oh I also read a post saying something about a casper electronics 02 sim.

Has anyone tried this product out?

From what I read it is only for vehicles with two 02 sensors and is used on the rear sensor.

any info on this would be great thanks

Joel,
See other post for my answer to your O2 sensor sim question.

Here is the FSM page describing the CEL codes. FSM Diagnostics go to page 6 for Code 71. It explains where to start looking in the "trouble area".

Here is the page that is referenced in the "see page" cell. Trouble shooting
