91 stock steel vs stock aluminum wheels

is there any difference in width between stock aluminum wheels from a 91 4Runner to stock steel wheels from a 91 4x4 pick up?

I found a steel (ha ha) of a deal on some steel wheels...set of 5 for $100 CDN just wanted to make sure im getting the same sized rim (width and backspacing)

Thanks

Colin

Only dif is you can carry more weight on the steelies. I still have mine on and just hit them with a rattle can of hammertite everytime they start looking bad. lol

$100 for 5 steelies isn't a great bargain. they are cheap wheels and a lot of times people are just giving them away to clear space. the steels that you are looking at could be 6 or 7 inches wide depending on what size tire originally came on them. the aluminums would be 15x7.

when i mounted my spare on the alloy wheel, i didnt weigh it to check for weight variation against the steel wheel. they felt roughly the same, judging by the amount of material in the alloy wheel compared to the steel wheel. anyone have a bare alloy and steelie they can weigh up and give us the comparison?
