New Meats on the Trekker
Found out today the hardway there's a national backorder on MT/Rs right now and was offered a set of BF KMs for dirt to ease my woes since Discount Tire forgot to tell me when I placed the order last week.
That's fine, good tires regardless
Great price
35-12.50-15s

Just a sticker, but funny.

Now, where's the Saws All

thats funny, i just ordered a set of mtr's in 33" and the guy said that the bfg's were on national backorder. i'm not sure why because i hadnt intended on getting the bfg's in the first place. maybe he just wanted to show off his insider info.

Had to wash a spot to put on a sticker eh?
Yep, I tried to get another 35/12.50 and they said they were on backorder...MT/Rs...I'll just wait cause I hate BFGs...I might run them if they were free, but that is about it...and I work across the road from the plant!

I don't know how long the backorder is but it sounds like it's just with this size. I've had a couple sets of MT/Rs in the past and they are a damn good tire. Curious to compare them to these. Eh..we'll see

By the way Jutty the tires look awesome, looks like you need to make some room for them though.

I work ACROSS the street from the plant that makes BFGs in Tuscaloosa, AL and could get the BFGs at half the price of MT/Rs....but then I'd just have to buy two sets to last as long as one set of MT/Rs...personal preference I guess.
Those meats do look nice, clean tires on a dirty truck...

Check these out!!

Maxxis answer to the MT/R. A friend of mine already has them in 33's and they rock! I'm getting 35's on Thursday so I'll post some pics, but with ridiculous prices and availability of MT/R's, I think these are the answer!

Thanks guys, making room for them now is going to be the plan for sure. Gonna add a couple leaves and do some fender trimming with the hopes of keeping the truck as low to the ground as possible.
Not really worried about mileage with a MT. Compared to the boggers I used to run these will last a lifetime
I have all the confidence in the world they will do the job with flying colors.

For driving on the road, they are bar none the quitest and smoothest riding MT I've ever owned. Amazed at there road manners.
Hitting the trails Sunday.

Yeah mine are really quiet too. I have had BFG MT's, Bridgestone Dueler MT's, Mud Kings, and MTR's (briefly) and the BFG's are by far the quietest and the best offroad. MTR's may be slightly better in dry rocks.
