I suupose you could start by just disconnecting your sway-bar (the not so quick way, with a wrench or two) and seeing if it give you more travel. If it does, then I'd compare the bolts that hold it on to the ones that hold the front bar. If they are the same I imagine you could use front discos in the back.

Keep in mind that I don't have a rear sway-bar, so I'm pretty much talking out of my a$$.

i dont have a rear swaybar either, so i might be talking out of my a$$ too...but i looked for front discos for my truck for a long time and never had any real success with those. i just take it on and off with the 2 nuts, takes less than 5 minutes. i usually drive around with it off anyways and the handling isnt too bad (except for that day i need to make a quick move on the highway....) you'd probably be fine just disconnecting the rear bar for good, at least IMHO

i would recommend talking to roger brown at 4crawler.. just tell him what you need his standard rate on disco's is $80.. adding $10 for the 90 degree angle (what you need for the fronts).. im not 100% sure, but when i was looking under my truck today, I think they are straight endlinks.. just tell him the length.

although, some people have said that using rear disco's doesn't give you as much of a travel gain as the fronts do..

There is really no drastic gain in articulation from disconnecting the rear. Others my disagree, but I see very little, and I have been told the same from others who have done so. The limiting factor in the rear is your lower control arms, they stop the travel long before the sway bar does.

4Crawler makes discos? I did not know that. Or were you thinking of Lars Dennert?

I would like to know if I can get discos for the rear too. The reason I want them is so I could run beefier ADDCO sways (on the street) and do a quick disconnect on the trails. If I could disco the front and rear, I could have some much improved perfomance on the street by running ADDCO's package.

That is my reasoning anyway.

rockcrawler made a set for front and rear.. but for the life of me i could never find where to buy them.. but like i said above, you should have no problems with a custom set

Cheap? Not really. In order to get more travel you have to give it more space to work in, which generally means to lift.
