I was wondering if anyone has tried and if it works... DO aftermarket rear bumpers for 1st gen yota trucks and runners work on 2nd gen runners? Basically do the brackets line up the same?

Have you tried? Cause I was checking out my friends 1st gen runner, and the brackets look the same. So I guess i just need to try it out.

 

Let us know what you find out if you do try it. I've always been curious about that.

 

I don't think it will work. When Schaeffer was doing all the jigs for his bumpers, they were all 3 different. Look at these pics:
