Pull both heads at same time.
I have a suspicion that my 3VZE heads are going to have to come off here real soon. Has anyone hear pulled off both heads at the same time while leaving the exhaust mani's and crossiver still connected. Then I could mess with all of those nasty bolts on the workbench. If not that approach, I'm thinking that pulling the engine, then removing the crossover etc... Might be a little easier than getting pissed off at all of the close quarters rusty fasteners. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

9 nuts. 6 on the cross over and 3 for the actual pipe coming down off the left side. It's not difficult at all, just spray them down well and let them sit overnight. If you happen to break something, oh well, you'll have the manifolds on the heads when you get them off. You can deal with anything broken on the bench. what you are talking about doing is possible I suppose, but why?
