Maybe I should send those guys one of my bumper brackets

I'll add that install link to my installation web page, though.

Roger,
I have a '92 4Runner and I'm going to do the 1.25" body lift this weekend that you sent me the stainless steel hardware for. With the 2nd gen I can just loosen the bolt in the clamp near the steering box and let the splined joint just slip apart, right?
Edit: I just reviewed Roger's website and no steering arm extension is needed for a 2nd gen. What year truck are you referring to CraZyRunner?

I just did a 2" body lift on my 94' Runner last weekend and I had no problems with the steering shaft. I just loosened the clamp bolt priot to lifting and retightened after. The gas filler hose caused me lot's of fits though. I also have some un-resolved shifter issues to deal with as well.

There are site search boxes on some of the main pages:
http://www.4crawler.com/index.shtml
Or directly:
http://www.4crawler.com/scgi-bin/rogerb/ice2-for.pl
and
http://www.google.com/custom?domains...D%3A1%3B&hl=en
Searching for "steering shaft" on either of the above search features brings you right to the page.

I guess my next move is to flip the boot or bend the shift lever ... anyone else got any more tips to try???

Also working on a short throw setup for the transmission as well. Using the B&M Tacoma short throw shifter with a custom adapter plate. But flipping the boot is an easy fix for a 2-3" lift. Or raise the engine and tranny up, that is the best solution.
