When making half doors..

When you made your half doors, where did you put the handel on the INSIDE of the door so you could open the door? Did you have to fab anything, or just move the handel somewhere? Thanks, pics would be great. I LOOKED ON PIRATE AND SAW A WHOLE THREAD ON HALFDOORS, BUT NOTHING ON WHERE TO RELOCATE THE HANDEL AND IF FAB WORK WAS NEEDED ON THE LATCH.

I'm workin' on a set right now and just removed the factory handle assembly with 10 mm(I think) and will relocate it to the inside close to the latch. Kind of on the back of the door.

There is some small fab work to do, but not much, cut a hole for the new handle and shorten the cable/rod that pulls the latch.

I'll take some pics soon.
