ok tranny is smoked what engine/trans combo cann I cram into this truck?

You can cram any engine you want as long as you have enough money and or mechanical and fabrication skills.
Nothing will swap in without extensive modifications except another 3.0. You will have to have new motor mounts, bellhousing adapters, wiring, driveshafts, and other stuff to make any other motor work.
Popular engine swaps are the 7MGTE, 5VZFE, 4.3 Chevy V6, and 350 Chevy V8.
