I just ran across this today! Sweet!

http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/e_catal...erchargers.htm

Doesn't sound like the specs are out yet though.
Well, have fun all.

P.S. Now all they need is one for us 2nd gen owners with the 3L.

Yeah, I guess they've been out for a while, but you don't see it too often. The word I hear is a 35% increase in HP and torque. Not bad!

I didn't know they have been out for a while already. That's awesome! I thought it was something new. I feel like a retard now.

Somebody a while ago was asking about 4 banger S/Cs, so I thought I would mention it.

Have fun all!

a lot of guys over at customtacos.com have the 4-banger S/C. They've also been working out some problems with them that they've encountered. Something about mounting bolts and other hardware bending or snapping. I think they might have it figured out by now.

Don't! There's not much discussion on this device. Most people have the 3.4. It's a stealth SC. Heh-heh.

It's for the 2.4 & 2.7 engines.

I know the 2.7 is the 3R-ZE

What is the 2.4 called. 2R-ZE? Or is it for the beloved 22RE 2.4? This is bothering me, I have to know!

for some reason i think i remember from the toyota website that the 2.7 is an overbored 2.4 and they still used it on the most recent tacos.

Awww. You all are so nice. I suppose if I had a choise of getting a 3.4 and a S/C for 1500 or a 2.7/2.4 with an S/C for 2500, I'd go for the 3.4 too!

Well, have fun all.
