Question Mag Lite Install Ideas?!

Just got a MAG LITE for Christmas and brackets but my driver's seat does not have the plastic piece as seen in some of the installs from this forum. I have a '02 4Runner and do not know where to mount the brackets for the MAG. Any ideas?

Danny

I mounted mine to the floor where it turns up in front of the passenger seat. I did not have any place to mount it to the front of the seat. I just ran 2 self tapping screws through the carpet.

I used silicone to seal the holes on the screws when I installed it.

Mounted mine to the metal cross member on the front of the drivers seat.

Do you have the metal bracket under the seat to drill into?

That is what I wanted to do but my 00 runner does not have that bracket under the seat. Mine just has a steel rod there, so I out it on the floor where it turns up in front of the seat. It worked and it is out of the way of people's feet.

I mounted mine to the rear of the rear seat. It fits great and is out of the way entirely. It is extremely easy to do and still is in reach from the back seat. Yet, because of the factory tint, people can't see it to nab it. Just my thoughts. :fireman:

All GREAT Ideas but the very last one is out for me.....My Siberian would have a great time with my Mag Lite...chewing it up. I think I consider puting it next to the door on the floor. I don't know if I have the metal bar. THANKS AGAIN ALL FOR YOUR IDEAS. HAPPY NEW YEAR BY THE WAY!!!!
