Just got my Sahara yersterday (Thanks Ctapia ), and my dilema is should I or shouldn't I color match it. I have the 2tone Dune/Silver scheme, so I'd be painting it Silver to match the lower trim. You can see it in my sig.

So if any of you have pics of a sahara or similar on a lighter color rig to give me an idea how the black will look, that would be great!

 

I think it would look good painted. The two others that I have seen painted look great!

 

 

When I get mine, I will paint it silver, and leave the chrome at the top, I think the black would stand out too much, since the rest of my truck is silver/chrome.

Thanks guys, I threw it on without painting it cause I'm too impatient, and seemed pointless till the weather clears up. Come summer I'll take a second look at it. Might be a good excuse to do a hood scoop at the same time....
