high steer probs

high steer probs

i am havung a issue with my high steer i just built it has got some bump steer and i thoght that this was the fix or that prob

Is it bumpsteer of death wobble? If woble try playing with the shackle lengths. I run unbalanced 38's with no steering stabilizer and have no bumprsteer and a very very light trace of death wobble

Death wobble is some bad stuff. I solved a case of death wobble by correcting the toe. As for bump steer you should be getting very little of that. Unless your drag link is at a severe angle. Try to get the drag link as level as you can. You might need a drop pitman arm. Whatever you do don't run a Z link. It won't solve the bumpsteer because the angle from TRE to TRE will be the same. And Z links are just weak and unsafe.

check out the amigo site to see the steering the drag link cant get more level but i think that i found out my issue i have a bad heim joint so i am thinking that could be the prob

i was wrong i had a bolt come loose had one that was not a poly lock fixed it seems to do a lot better now also lots of new pics at my amigo site what do you think :xmas3:
