Back from deployment. Lots of new tools!

Hey guys,
Well I am back from deployment, and I have a new (old) truck, and I ordered a Lincoln Pro-Mig 135 that I am waiting for. I also picked up a used Oxy/Acetylene torch set complete with with full tanks for $300. I am planning on learning how to weld and make my own sliders and winch mount/bumper from square tube since I don't have a bender yet. I picked up the 14" abrasive cut off saw at HF as well since it was on sale. Can't wait for the Mig to get here so that I can start learning.

Yup I am back. I am in Arlington actually. I just bought a new wheeling rig, its in my sig. Just got the winch for it tonight, but I will need to learn to fab the winch bumper and sliders. I am ready to wheel! I haven't been wheeling since April.

Hmm I want to go. I will have to see whether I have duty that day or not. I am itching to try out the new rig. As far as making a winch mount, well I have a winch mount already that came with the winch, and I just need to fab the attachment of said winch mount to my frame. But I am still waiting for the Mig welder to show up. I did try out the oxy acetylene torch last night, and I was amazed that I remembered how to use it considering I hadn't used one since 1988.
