Our Toyota's: Pics!

Here's some pics of our ride's & r/c's!

We do 4-wheel when we get the chance. We live near the beach & we surf, fish & camp-(at times on private land w/permission).
To get to some of these places require's some critical off roading over tire cutting lava. These roads are so man made & remote & untouched, white coral are used to mark the path in order to drive & reach to our destination. There are ancient Hawaiian grave sites, villages, petroglyph's, royal trails & are strictly protected. YES... thread lightly...

Anyway, enjoy the pics...I'll post action pics next time.

Whats the deal with those RC's? Where do I buy/build one? They look sweet.

Anyways, I know how it is living in Hawaii with accessing beaches and all. Especially on the big island and Kauai.

What island you on? I used to live on Big island, Kona side.

I always loved the drive down to Waipio valley. Surf sucked most of the time, but, that place was crazy...and sacred.

Aloha Braddah'!
I live right here in Kona my friend.
We'll, i bought these at a hobby store called Hobby People. da' landcruiser is an xtm x-factor 4x4 & the other is a traxxas nitro stampede. they're expensive when you buy them at first & they won't look like this when you buy them.. these have modified & upgraded parts like engine, body, suspension, ect....

Here's the link if you want to check it out:
http://xtm.globalhobby.com/

We'll Kona is Kona... sunny, humid, & bad traffic.. It is so bad, it backs up from town to as far as Keahole airport. There's so much homes, condo's & development goin' on here, people, cars & shrinking roads is what we got going on right now. But it's still beautiful here.
Places like waipio valley & others are still country tho'.
In fact, my brother took his truck down there this past weekend & crossed the stream & sank it!

Anyway, talk story later. Take care & Aloha!

I have a question for all of you 85 straight axle toyota's. Has anyone here ever performed the front drive axle service on your trucks? Is it a really big job? And what down time do i have?
Any info would really help! Thanks!

It's not the speed that breaks stuff. It's the sudden stop...
