new oil, pcv and fuel filter....
well, i just got done changing the oil pcv and fuel filter out on the taco, wow what a differnence it has made,
ive been driving to seattle and back a few times lately cause my mom is in the hospital, and have been getting a steady 16.5-16.8 mpg, im interested to see the results with this stuff done and how well it will performe, all lost throttle response and the "dead spots" ive been seeing and also all the rough ideling seems to have dissapeared.
the truck has 95613 miles on it, and everything was still original, cant wait to see how it does tommorow morning,
i have to recomend this to everyone that hasnt done this already, its a world of differnce and cost less the 50 bucks to do.

I just did fuel filter, pcv, oil, cap, rotor, plugs, and it was amazing what effect it had on the motor. I also regeared my truck today to. That help out with the power too.

I thought you were only to replace the PCV if you shook it and you didn't hear the valve rattle (i.e. it's stuck)?

yea, i thought that too...
but it's such a cheap part, guess there's no harm in preventitive maintenance.

That's a good point.
I only replaced mine in my 1st gen because I had jacked up the valve trying to get it out
