Anyone with a 2nd Gen Toyota Factory Repair Manual...
could you do me a huge favor and scan the pages for timing belt replacement? I think I understand how to do everything, but I'd like to see what they have... Right now I cant afford a timing kit and the 3 books. One or the other.
Thanks a TON in advance.

guys thank you a TON!!!
but I dont have that same tensioner....all 93-95 have a bolt on tensioner, while the 88-92 3vze's have the idler tensioner like mine. I was really left curious about that tensioner.
but THANK YOU a ton, I REALLY appreciate it.

I did my timing belt during spring-break a couple years ago. I took my time, bagged all the pieces in labeled zip-lok bags and ordered most of the parts ahead of time. Once I got into it, I thought the bearings in the idlers sounded dry, so I went ahead and ordered them and replaced them at the same time. It took me most of the week, working a little, waiting a lot. But when I fired it up, it was perfect. Read up on it and take your time.
One more thing...use Toyota parts...the timing belts line up better.

Definately!! The others were a great help in clarifying the process, but our 3vze's have the idler/tensioner combined and Im hopig it wont require removal of the PS pump. But definately send em my way! Thanks man!
