Trailer hitch cover

Anyone know where I can locate a black rubber trailer hitch cover? The kind that has the Toyota emblem on it. I'd rather not go to you know where... Maybe someone has one just laying around and don't need or parting out a Runner. PM me at k-man61@insightbb.com Thanks.

i would get one that locks. for some reason, people like to steal these -- ive had 2 stolen!

so i got this "chrome" one (it weighs about 1 oz and is so fake, its ridiculous) that has a hole in it so i can lock it up:

it was like $3.99 at autozone.

I'd never seen one that was OEM till I bought my Runner and lo and behold mine had one and so far nobody's touched it. (knock on wood)

My 4runner came with one. Lost it on my first trip in the dirt. Bought another one $5..it was stolen. Sooner or later, the whole hitch is coming off.

A friend of mine who runs a (ahem) "pre-owned" car lot and helped me locate my 97 has an identical 98 sitting there. I was thinking what would keep someone from lifting the cover off of it??? I reached down there and guess what... it comes right off. If I were a dishonest person. I'm in agreement with Lee, I'll probably get something I can lock.

If I wasn't using my hitch all the time I would get one of those chrome skulls with the red eyes that light up when you hit the breaks, lol. If you want an emblem cover, I would sugest a cover that can be locked in place so it doesn't get jacked the first day (one with a pin hole). Personally, I would just welld one up and glue the emblem on.

I'm with Lee with this one. It costs 8-10bucks for a piece of rubber that really doesnt have any purpose? it's stupid. I'm getting a hitch mounted shackles that actually has a purpose. that'll buy me 5-6 of these stupid rubber things.
