What is the biggest 18 inch A/T tire that I can fit?

I have a 2000 Limited 4wd 4Runner and am about to purchase some Enkei RT6 18 inch wheels and want some A/T tires on them. What is the bigges I can go without any major rubbing issues without having to do a lift? Thanks in advance!

Using a metric to english calculator..I can see 275/65/18's fitting. Thats about a 31.5x11.5. Tirerack says 285/55/18. I don't see any decent tires in either sizes. This tire seems to look best.

Check out a tire shop and see what they can fit for you.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. I have a local tire shop that I am going to talk to on Monday, and then hopefully I can get this thing rolling soon, again thanks!

Actually a 275/65/18 is not a 31" tire. That is way more on the lines of a tall 32, almost 33" tire. Unless you're lifted there's no way an 18" tire with a sidewall of 65 will fit.

I think those would be bigger too. The 255/70/16's i just put on are taller than the 31x10.50's i just took off.
But the Michelin 255/70r16 my dad has, and the 31's i had on there, were the exact same height and width, if that helps.

I decided to hold off, at least until I am back from my trip, I think when we get back I am considering the Enkei deep six 20 inch with tires, if it is too costly then I will probably opt for the 18 inch wheel/at tire combo. I don't take it off road much since my wife drives it primarily, but I still would like the at tire on the 18 just in case I go that route...

I've decided to go with either Bridgestone Dueler H/P or Bridgestone Dueler HL Alenza in 285/60-18.

Do you have any pics of a 4 runner with that size tire on there? Will the 285 rub any? If not then i would like to go with a 285...I also thought about just keeping the stock 16's and going with a nice a/t 16 inch tire but don't know what would be good to go with.
