Waxing Roof

Anyone out there with roof baskets routinely remove them to wax the roof or are you lazy like me and don't do it? Is it really bad if I don't?

Talking Half arse

Don't do a half job. Take the roof rack off once a year and wax the whole rig.

I remove the bars on my roof rack when I wax it. You would be suprised on how much dirt and crap gets trapped under them!

I do not take the Load Warrior off, as it is to hard to get it aligned perfectly, and it is aligned that way now.

I do the roof aft of the basket, but not underneath.

I agree, my old 4Runner had horrible buildup underneath the rack rails.
