I have a 2002 4Runner and I had the AC/HEATER control switch (the whole unit) changed as Toyota thought this was the problem. The problem being when the switch was turned all the way to the left it blew warmer air, when the switch was raised a hair it was cold again. So, new switch ws installed and the problem still exists. Any thoughts or similar you can share.

 

So you are still under warranty, right?

 

Yes, under warrentee and extended was purchased so I am covered. It's going back next Thursday. But I am beginning to wonder if that was the problem after all.
