Any one know this company?

I'm wondering if any of you have experience (ie. own) headers (or anything else) made by a company called either stone racing or stone mountain racing. If you do, how has it affected performance and how bad was the install process?
Thanks,
Ian

i'm thinking of buying those headers (which are copies of the JBA's) and seeing if they work. $150 makes it worth playing around . . . .

I looked through ssautochromes feedback on ebay and managed to find a guy who'd bought them for his tundra. he seemed pretty happy-said that the quality was great for the money, biatch of an install (true for all headers?) and they sounded great. he was unsure what they had done for performance. I don't think I would have the chance to install them for at least two months, so I get plenty of time to think about it.
If you go for it, please post you opinions.

i just bid $150 on them. i'll probably win them.

i'm sure that the install will be rough - as long as they line up with the manifold ports, and don't look too low-quality, i'll make them work . . . i have a muffler shop lined up to fab a little length of tubing to make the headers fit my exhaust.

there are two reports on customtacos about the headers. one guy ("slipperytaco") likes them, and another guy from hawaii returned them because they didn't fit. if they didn't fit because they didn't line up with his exhaust, then that's fine - if they didn't line up with the block, then that's bad!

i returned a set of Edelbrocks because the quality was so poor. if this set doesn't look installable, then i'll return them . . i have a feeling they'll be fine though. it looks like someone just took a set of JBA headers, and copied them . . .

i'll get them in a few days and post more.

Creed, did you win the auction? If so, did you get these yet? And, how are they if you did?

Just wondering...

I don't see them on eBay now, nor do I see them on the SSAutoChrome website. Where for art they?
