Depressurizing the fuel system?

Getting ready to change my fuel filter (92 4x4 xtra cab 3.0 V6) but my Haynes manual does not provide the specifics of how to depressurize the fuel system prior to loosening the banjo bolts on the filter. Your advice is much appreciated.

1. Remove the gas cap. This will help but won't depressurize fully.

2. Pull the fuel pump relay and run the motor till it dies. This will pretty much empty out the fuel line.

I just did a write up on the 2nd gen fuel filter. Go give er' a read. It was fairly easy with some help from my good friend pb-blaster. I tried to explain everything in detail.

My Haynes manual does not illustrate the location of the fuel pump relay. Can someone point me in the right direction?

That's almost a quarter of a beer can, for you metrically challenged individuals
