guess I am keeping my runner
I can't generate much interest in selling my runner for the money I want for it locally so I guess I'll keep it.
I do know I hate my IFS I want to throw a solid axle under it.
Does anyone have any pics of alterenative solid axle setups on toyota second gens? I want to avoid a leaf suspenion if possible. I was thinking either coils or coilover front suspension. I was thinking of using either a 85 front axle or possibly a LC80 front axle but that's alot more $$.

For close to the price of an 80 cruiser axle, you can get a stronger Front Range axle.
Leaves are pretty point and go if you are welding yourself.
Coilovers seem like overkill for throttle down muddy rocks and hills..
What have you got in the way of lockers, etc?

I only have a lockright rear right now. I am probably getting some 4.88's diff's from a dude locally. I have found a couple rusted 85 toy axles that need work the lowest price I found for one was $50. It seems that FJ80 axles are quite scarce here and they want over $800 for it at the place I found one at I asked him was it made of gold? He didn't answer.
