New shocks when using Balljoint spacer on lifted runner?

I am really thinking about getting those balljoint spacers to match with my OME860 coils... which are still waiting to be installed..

one question though, I know people have installed the spacer on rigs with 4" suspension lifts, did you have to buy new shocks? or were the shocks that came with your lift long enough?

thanks?

I am buying new shocks... the stocker with 127K miles are done... I am going with OME shocks also. (1.5" lift and 2" OME 900 rear coils)

My shocks were fine, but I'm running the Gabriel air shocks so I'm not sure if that's very helpful.
