2G guys, Looking for a part number/description so I can order this...
This is a coolant hose has a leak in it. It's just a hairline crack I guess, but when the truck heats up, it spews coolant out. With all the stupid hoses running this way and that, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the name or part number of this hose is. It runs from just behind the intake plenum by the firewall up to and hooks onto the white goofy looking valve that I still don't understand what its purpose is for. Do all 90+ 2gens have this? Here's a couple of pictures showing the hose. Sorry for the quality, I'm not at home and alreayd had these pics on my server...
Thanks.
Thanks.

Okay, forget the part number, hopefully I can find that out at toyota if I go in. What i need to know is if any of you other early 2G guys have this white valve that the pipe runs into. It looks very bizaare, and may not have been a factory part... in which case the hose may not be a factory hose, presenting another problem. Thanks!

The white "valve" is a standard aftermarket flushing tee. As such, it is in all likelyhood the factory hose but it is the same hose on both sides of the tee, not just the part that has your leak. ie, the factory hose runs to the other tee about 5" to the right in your picture.

Ahh, I thank you. What is the purpose of this flushing tee?? Maybe I could use to my advantage somehow when I have to change out this hose...

Purpose is simply to flush the cooling system like you're supposed to do every year or two (longer with Toyota red coolant). It facilitates the attachment of a standard garden hose (with a double female adapter)
