Just installed my S/C, now a Question

Ive been searching all night and cant really seem to fine anything so I'll ask you guys.

I just installed a s/c on my 96 3.4 and everything seems fine. I do however have a left over hose and I cant figure out where it goes. Its the left side from the power steering pump. The right side runs back up to the intake silencer and I now have the left side capped off. Do anyone by chance know where this vacuum line should go?

Also, which spark plugs are recommended for a stock motor with the s/c and no fuel mods?

Thanks a lot for your time

Do you have A/T or manual transmission?

I'll take a look at where my hose goes once I get off work tonight...

Auto.

The pickup is awesome. Itll even spin the tires for a brief moment. I dont think the PS hoses make much of a difference if they are hooked up or not. I seem to remember on another car that the just helped keep engine output up somehow while turning if that makes sense.

All in all im happy but im a little bugged that that hose goes no where and the very bland installation manual doesnt tell. It doesnt even have a listing in the back for 96 2WD 4runners so I went by the 4x4 diagram

The one on the right hand side used to go the front of the plenum before you installed the S/C. Now, I don't know where to tell you to put it. It's part of the "Idle Up" feature that keeps the idle from dropping when you turn the steering wheel.

You should ping Gadget...

Good luck.

T-off the hose that runs from the brake booster to the side of the supercharger. Then run the line to the PS line.

There are some pics in my website under engine mods. You will see the hose in my pics because I used the original hose and then used a connector to attach the new vacuum hose to.

Make sure you do the valve body upgrade on the tranny if you are going to keep spinning those tires.
