Crank No Start
Help!
I recently replaced the battery and alternator on my 91 Toyota pickup (converted into a class c RV by leisure Odyssey). In the process of replacing the alternator, I needed to remove the distributor to get the alternator out/back in. When I put everything back together, it cranks but won't start.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Does the distributor rotor turn when the engine turns over? When the crank is set at TDC, is the rotor pointing a few degrees before the #1 plug post? (or 180° away, as there are two TDCs per revolution of the distributor). Did you follow the directions on re-installing the distributor (the drive gear is a helix, so the match-marks take the twist into account).

I haven't checked the distributor rotor while turning the engine over yet. After setting the crank to TDC the last time, I removed the distributor cap and noticed the rotor might have been just at or after #1 plug. I thought I re-installed the distributor correctly but, its possible I missed something.
