eBay radiator and e fan?

My radiator is busted and my fan clutch seems to be constantly engaged so I was just looking at eBay aluminum radiators because I've had great luck with them on other vehicles and I found one with an electric fan and a shroud I was just curious if anyone has used them before and if they're any good https://www.ebay.com/itm/22535101037...mis&media=COPY

Unsolicited two cents worth: Looks like a solution to a nonexistent problem. If you don't have an electric fan to draw air through your radiator, designed and installed from the factory, you're into shade tree automotive engineering if you install one of these. Electrical systems modifications/upgrades required?

Many write ups on an electric fan swaps. Tap the wiring into a sensor so its only on when it needs to be.. anything's possible.

While not that brand exactly, Im running the same looking rad (not the shroud fan part) In my 92 and its been great. I did have to trim the back of the hood a bit for it to clear, but keeps everything nice and cool.

I installed a CSF Brass radiator in my 2WD 22RE 10 years ago and no issues to date. It was a direct bolt-in replacement with no fan for $158 on sale. Not saying it is, but that Ebay 3-core with a fan and shroud priced at $145 make me wonder about quality of all the components. Definitely Chinese made. I'd rather go with a solid build radiator and run the OEM fan at 1st to see if it overheats. Then add maybe an electric fan or twin fans at later if needed.

Clutch Fan is always engaged to some extent. The key is how it makes fan follow pulley speed - closely when hot, lagging when cold. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f199...l#post52229129

Like Joe and many others I replaced my radiator with one from CSF. Very good quality all metal. Pls search my post for what model to look for, depending on what would fit your shroud..

Well after reading what some of you guys had to say and thinking on it for a bit I decided today I was just going to check out my rad more and really it's not that bad, it's fairly clean and I never had any overheating problems even going up 8% grades it's just came unsoldered on the mounting brackets so I thought I was going to fix it today and tried to solder it but I don't have any gas for the torch so I used my propane canister one and it is pretty much out so I couldn't get the solder hot enough. So I ended up just putting jb weld on it for now
