Help 86 Toyota pickup stuck in neutral

I recently took my 1986 Toyota pickup custom cab into the snow. I went to engage 4wd and lock the manual hubs. And I drove it for a bit, barely a minute and seem to have lost all gears besides park. No grinding or anything. Neutral safety switch seems to be fine as I can start the truck back up. Tried rolling it back and forth, disengaging hubs and 4wd but to no avail no gears. It is a turbo auto tranny. Fluid looks fine with reddish color. Just stumped on what to do next. Any suggestions anyone ? Could really use any pointers.

Not a 4WD drive man. It could possibly be linkage binding, or just got disconnected. Need to have a person work the shifter while you are under it to see if the linkage is working right.

I have had linkage bind on a four speed Ford pickup, and best I can remember linkage coming loose on a few automatic transmissions over 45 years that I have owned vehicles.

I have checked the linkage and they are all still connected and moving through all gears. Even moved them manually. Even had someone check while I was under and they are all function as should.
