1990 pickup 22re manual locking hubs. My 4wd stopped working and one of my hubs wouldn't go all the way into the lock position. so I replaced the manual locking hubs with new Warn hubs. Took it for a spin on my property and got stuck in a spot I should have been able to back out of. With the hubs locked and in 4 low the rear tires were just spinning. So I pull it out and proceed to test it on this hill it crawls right up the first one and the steeper second hill I start to go up then hear a loud pop and the 4wd stopped working.Thinking maybe the front diff or transfer case? The CV axles are fairly new and looked fine when I replaced the hubs. It goes into four hi and low fine and the 4wd light comes on. Just don't want to start throwing parts at it. Any help would be appreciated.
