I have a 92 Toyota pickup with the 22RE and around 151k miles. Daily driver but off the road system. Recently started sporadically not firing. Starter turns it over fine. But will not actually run until I pull the EFI fuse and try starting it. Then it’ll fire but of course very poorly and stall, and then reinstall fuse and it’ll start up and go until the next time it decides to not! Will cruse at 75 on dirt roads just fine most of the time but today I did notice that it was underpowered and could only go 50 max on flat ground so I pulled the EFI fuse to see if it is connected with the same issue and after reinstalling the fuse the power came back. (was already having lack of power until recently swapping the TPS and IAC). No CEl but it does work as I recently had a light and fixed those issues. (Knock sensor wire broke) No CEL since. I have put around 2k miles on it recently and still drive it but never know when it’ll decide it wants to act somehow! Any ideas or suggestions?
