Hi guys,

What have you guys done to replace the carpet at the bottom of your door panels? Mine on my '86 is completely shot.

Is this a "buy some comparable carpet, cut it, and glue it on" situation, or are there other options?

I detest hidden fasteners and dust-trapping carpet, so:

Now, I won't need to read the manual nor find special tools and/or replacement clips in order to remove and re-install panels, and my panels can be easily cleaned without a vacuum cleaner.
