Replacement Door Panels
Do any of you know of companies that sell replacement door panels (inside truck)? I want to get a set for an 82, but have not found any. They do not have to look stock and open on material.
Thanks

A year or two ago I found a company online that sold plain plastic panels for 1st gens, but I have been looking and can not find any. I do not want to make mine out of metal (weight) or wood (water damage like my stock ones). Plastic would be perfect. Well I'll let you know if I find any.

I do remember seeing a deal about how to make your own once. Maybe on here maybe not. But it was all about using the old ones as templates so I dismissed it but that might be a route you could take. Homemade is always better!!

Agreed. I just need to find some thicker 1/4" flexable plastic sheet? No Idea where to get some. Looked at home depot, nothin of the sort. I know I will end up making some, but really want plastic.

I cant remember the type of backing material but I guess that dosnt matter to much. But the trick was covering it in foam that you get at fabric stores. It comes in different sizes and its on those big bolts that fabric comes on. Its like a rubber foam or something. Then you cover it in vinyl. That makes it look all professional and puffy. Talk to an interior shop if its to scary, the good interior dudes could make 'em. But Id rather take the time to do it myself.
