I've tried to order a new throttle body and I am unable to source a new 1 the 1 that I have is way too broken to repair. I have tried countless different methods to repair but haven't had no success. Does anyone have any guides or idea of how to hook up the 4 pin throttle position sensor on an automatic throttle body if so I would be greatly appreciative of it. I have access to a machine shop just was hoping someone could help me a little on what I'll need to do

 

Have you checked the local dealership?
If not there, maybe the local junkyard/recovery yard?

Also, the kind of vehicle, ie: Taco, 4Runner, etc, and what engine, ie: 5VZ-FE etc, and what year, would help us out a lot. If you notice, most people on here put all that info in their sig. Makes it so much easier to know just exactly what we're talking about/looking for.

Are you trying to use a 4pin Throttle body on a 3pin wire harness and ECU( I do have the setup and test procedure for 4 pin if you need it), you can't use 4 pin TPS without changing the body ECU and ECU and wiring. Most throttle-bodies are completely rebuildable, shaft, shaft seals, IAC, TPS, theres not much to them, so if yours is NFG buy another used one and rebuild it.

 

thanks for the advice. found one misposted on ebay. got a good quality used one now my truck runs great and passed deq as of today.
