Bellof/Catz HIDs

My bulb blew out today. I was talking to my gf at a park, and the cops pulled up on us and said we should go, so I start up my car, and the bulb is blown :pat:
Anyway, I was wondering how compatible the Catz kits were with the Bellofs, since they look exactly alike?
Also, do you guys know where the best place to buy them from is?
I just need one bulb for a 5000K dual beam kit.
Thanks for any help you can give me!

DuB:

Catz and Bellof are one in the same. They put them in Bellof boxes and charge more. Not sure where to find them though...

DuB:

Not sure what year you have, but if you have a 3rd gen and need Catz H4 bulbs...here's an auction for you:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

They are 4100k which are better than 5000k.

If i'm not mistaken the bulbs are pretty interchangeable. I know my buddys with stock audi and mb hid setups were changing out their bulbs with brighter/bluer (if thats a word) bulbs with no problems. Plus, it just makes sence that they have a standardization. but I could be completely off base here. I guess shoot an email to on of the stores and ask about compatibility.

Aftermarkets aren't interchangable with regards to HID unless your using OEM kits.

you're probably gonna be better off replacing them as a pair. sometimes after they have been used the color may be different between the two.
