My cat got stolen. They cut the front pipe just before the O2 sensor port, and the mid pipe just after the convertor.
This is the front pipe: https://www.yotashop.com/exhaust-pip...e-17410-07070/
Now the problem is, every place that I'm finding other than the dealer is showing a convertor with a single exhaust hole, where the front pipe clearly has two holes.

Also, I'm reading a bunch about two pipes cats. This is an AZ tacoma, not a California. Did only the California Tacomas have two cats?
Since they cut the pipe before the O2 sensor, I need to replace that too. That means I'll need a cat with an O2 port of the correct kind. The only ones that I find that have the correct kind that say they fit my truck have the wrong flange!
So, I'm planning on welding the new one on, and extending with some straight pipe to connect to the rest of the system going towards the muffler. I need to fill about 27.5 inches.
Here are a couple other pictues:

Reason: Clarified subject is for a Tacoma
That really sucks, I need to add armour to this area to make it less accessible. The OEM Cats don't have a 2 bolt flange, its all one piece from the Y pipe flange to the back of the cat, I would go OEM as they last forever, also the aftermarket O2 sensor bung threads cannot be reused like the OEM.
Your answer adds to my confusion.
Looking at the toyota website, I find this: https://parts.toyota.com/p/Toyota__T...741007070.html
It says that's the 'Y' Front Pipe and shows it with a flange on both ends, but then it has several other photos and each one is slightly different. Some include a cat, some are just flanged.
Right now I have a stub of a front pipe, but there's enough to weld to easy enough. I just need to add the O2 bung, a cat, and some pipe with hangers. I guess I'll take a day off work and hit some junkyards on Friday to see about a different front pipe?
I'm guessing yours is federal emission single cat, some got a round 3 bolt flange after the manifold and some/most got 2 cat system after 2001. I'm sure you can buy that section with a 2 bolt flange but they where not supplied with one from the factory on single cat emissions. The wrecker is a great idea, go for low milage and unbolt it at the Y and at the 2 bolt flange at the back of the cat or cut the 2 bolt flange off with it if you need it, at that point I would take the entire section of exhaust from Y pipe to muffler so it was a bolt/slip on repair.
I'm thinking that these parts might be hard to come by in a junkyard. It seems that they were only available until 2001, and even in 2001 it was only one model (4WD, MT) from what I can tell. I can't imagine many of those are still around? Of course, mine is.. and it *is* low mileage at just over 200k (10k miles per year average).
Here you can see it is all one part. "Y"3bolt flange - O2 bung - cat and 2bolt flange and gaskets for both ends, you need item #5. Again I would go to A wrecker or call around and get one complete that is the original OEM cat with about the same milage, 200,000miles is not low milage, but the OEM cat should last 400,000mi if fuel system is up to par., aftermarket won't last or will through a code. Hopefully he left you the rear 2 bolt flange so you can bolt it back up or you will need the section that includes the muffler and rear O2 sensor bung. A bolt on affair would be better than welding in sections but that's up to you. Again OEM didn't have a 2bolt flange infront of the Cat only after the Cat. And if you need O2 sensors go Denso using the correct part number for your VIN. The only reason you would buy a Y with a 2bolt flange for the cat is if you wanted to install an aftermarket cat from that same supplier or weld on a 2 bolt flange infront of the OE cat for whatever reason, it never came that way from the factory.
I realize that I did not specify that I have a Tacoma. It's in my .sig, but I should have mentioned that up front also.
Maybe the 4Runner is different?
Crap sorry, I was thinking 4R, my apologies, but it looks like you can go either way at this point, both will work which should help expand your search at the wrecker.
