Local guy here has a nice set of wheels with new tires for sale dirt cheap. Will the 6 bolt wheels off a Nissan truck fit a Toy?

 

If they are six lug on 5.5" spacing, they should.

 

Ive heard Nissan has a larger six bolt pattern.

I know for a fact Chevy & Toy have the same 6 bolt

I think Ford & Nissan have the same 6 bolt

 

I'm pretty sure nissan wheels fit a yota

 

So that's a "measure them first", "probably not" and a "probably". Anybody know for sure?

 

I do know for sure. My previous truck was a Nissan D21 Hardboy 4x4 and yes they will fit.

Interesting. That would be so funny if he bought $400 worth of wheels and them not fit. But it would suck if the seller would not take them back. Glad that Dbikeman is 100% positive they will fit.

 

I suggest doing a test fit before you buy them.

 

Nissan wheels will fit Toyota as long as they are six lugs, but Toyota wheels may not fit all Nissans due to the fact that Nissan have much bigger hubs.
Ford does not have a six lug pattern, they are all either 5x5.5 or 5X135mm.

No, they do not. They have either 8X6.5, 7X150mm or 8X170mm

 

I was asking about Ford lug patterns. Were you backing me up that Nissan 6 lugs are not the same as Toyota?

 

The Nissan wheel should fit fine. The factory XE wheel is a 15x6 with about 4" or so of bs. The SE wheel is a 15x7 with about the same bs. Most se's came with 31s. Also when I bought my Mickey thompson classic IIs the tire guy said that toyota and nissan 4x4's use the same wheel.

 

Ford has a 5 lug, 7 lug, 8 lug, and yes a 6 lug. It's on the 2004 f-150.

 

Yeah, I forgot about the new F-I50, but they are 6X135mm- not 6X5.5 like the Toyotas and Nissans. The only six luggers that I am aware of are:

6X5.5- Nissan, Toyota, GM, AMC, Mazda, and Mitsubishi

6X135mm- Ford (2004)

6X4.5- Dodge

 

It really wouldn't be that funny, but I also wouldn't be dumb enough to buy them without checking, if I couldn't return them.

The 6 lug 5.5 pattern is the same on 4wd toyota, chevy, izusu and older jeep waggy's and some mitsubishi montero's.

The only thing you have to worry about is the center hole clearence I bought a cheapo alloy isuzu wheel as a spare and tryed to fit it on the center hole was too small and wouldn't fit my 4 runner so I gave it top my buddy who has a nissan I think it fits on but it's really tight. You can fit toyota wheels on nissans as well.
Chevy wheels I know for a fact won't fit nissan or toyota because the center hole is way too small.
Mitsubishi montero wheels will fit a nissan I do know that.
I had used the older toyota alloys on my 95 pathfinder the only thing that didn't work because it requires a recessed collar lug nut for the toyota alloys and the thread pitch is different on a toyota's lug nuts 1.5 thread pitch vs the nissans 1.25 pitch.
I have seen a 4 runner running around with 15x6 chrome stock steel wheels from a nissan as well though. I don't know about the alloy center hole clearence though I think the center hole on the nissan wheel is a little smaller than toyotas not by much though but it would be enough so it wouldn't work though.
Anyways good luck I would just get aftermarket wheels they tend to be alot less expensive.

But wheels purchased for Toyota that are after market rims will fit Chevrolet.

So everyone knows for a fact that the 1990 through 1995 Ford F250's did not have a six lug pattern? I swore there was. But maybe I am wrong.
