87 4Runner - How are RH and LH ball joints different?

Made a mistake and mixed up the new OEM ball joints for my 87 4Runner after taking them out of their bags. Each upper and lower has a unique part # suggesting RH and LH ball joints are different, but both uppers look the same and both lowers look the same. How do I tell which are the RH and which are the LH?

I recently bought and installed new genuine Toyota ball joints on my '87 Runner.

Best I could determine by examination, manipulation, and measurement, was that the only difference between the left and right ball joints is the positioning of the rubber boot

so that the little tit on the boot that permits excess grease to bleed out of the boot; faces toward the rear of the truck.

I'd be interested in any information that says other differences exist. I could'nt find any.

I just checked mine and see what you're referring to. If no other info is out there, I'll use the nip location to pick which side to install them on. Appreciate the help.
