Hi from the Great White north!!!!!

Hey guys had my 1994 grn 4RNR for about a month now & love it!!! think the "yoyatech" is awesome for info aswell. Just wondering what i could do about the little rust under the rear bumper??? new bumper or re-chrome??? I would love to keep this suv in its peak condition also the paint is has some small inperfections and scrathes on it, any reccomendations on what wax or polish to use. also one more thing I had the Trannyflushed and changed the oil, engine flush, valve cleaner, new air filter...... I was told i should also get new plugs, pcv filter & fuel filter....any other recomendations??? thanks....

Welcome to YotaTech!!!

For Polish the favorites here are Zainos and Griots. Zainos is polymer based and Griots is carnuba based. What color is your Runner???

And what the heck is wrong with the rest of you guys????

I use Zaino on my 99. Since it's virtually spotless and has been taken very good care of, I don't mind spending 100 bucks on zaino supplies to keep it it's best. There's plenty of other waxes like "Mother's Gold" and "Meguiars" that are much less expensive, easier to apply, and protect very well also. If I were in your shoes i'd be tempted to go with the latter.

As far as rust goes... never had to deal with it living here in the south, so I couldn't tell ya.

Welcome to the Yotatech, ive only been on here for a few months and by reading these forums the knowledge gained is enormous. I just picked up a 92 and i myself am in Canada and have the whole rust problem. I just replaced the passenger side rear bumber panel. Just go to a good auto parts store and they'll hook you up with the exact part for a reasonable price. If you want to save the bumper from rust, take it off, wire brush the inside, wipe it with some rust check, and then put a good sealent on. My advice , take off all your trim one day and check and treat the rust, and worry about the underbody components, bumpers are only bumpers.
