3rd gen Fog lights??

I have a '97 4-Runner that had the fog light option but the lights were removed. The switch and wiring is still there. I think the orig lights were 55 watts. I would like to put some driving lights in the same mounting spot and use the orig wiring. Anyone know if I can put 100 watt lights on the orig wires and relay?

Talking OEM fog lights

My 00 SR5 has all the wiring in place but no switch. I investigated this option a while back, but with an ARB now, there is no need. If you already have the wiring and switch I would imagine you can hook up any fog lights. If yours are the ones that go in the lower valance then you can get the Hellas that fit there or PIAA offers some options that will fit. Try a search for OEM fog lights or something similar.

I did a search and got a bunch of info but am wondering how much wattage I can run with the orig wiring?

100 watt bulbs could be a problem for the stock harness.

I've got the exact same fog light setup as the above picture but one of my lights is busted. I'm having a difficult time tracking down a spare. Can anyone shed some light. No pun intended...

I have a 98 runner. The relay is on the drivers side fender. You may want to move the battery out to get to it easier. Lights and wiring harness can be purchased at Rallylights.com . The lights are pt# HL65060 and interchangable @ $60 each. Their contact info is below is taken from a recent order I made. They should be able to give you any part you need.

If there are any questions, give us a call at 610-944-3233, 10:00am to
5:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Outside those times, leave a
message and we'll get back to you when we can. You may also email us at
mail.mosports@verizon.net -

Good Luck -

You need to use 55 Watts. If you'll use 100W, you'll melt the wires.
