Hi guys,

I have a toyota ae114 with 4afe engine.

I am trying to identify the sensor/component in the image attached below.

This pic was taken from just above the the throttle body for reference.
I distinctly remember the top of the circled component having a clear bulb i think with a bit of liquid in it. But it seems mushed and dirty now.

 

I could well be wrong, but I believe that's the sight glass for the AC system. There are various indications it can give to help troubleshoot/check the AC.

Like I say, I may well be mistaken on this, but I believe that's what it is.
