I have been wondering if anybody has a suggestion for a more comfortable bench seat for a 1987 pickup.
I like the bench, so I am looking for either a cover with more backing / padding or another bench. I was wondering if the mid 90's 60/40 benchs would fit? Is there an aftermarket seat that works? When I search for aftermarket seat, they seem to be for jeeps or old fords/chevy's.

I put a bench from a mid 90s pickup into my 81, so I'm sure it would fit an 87. It was a little tight but with some wiggling it fit in the cab perfect. Bolt holes mostly lined up, I think I drill a couple new ones but realized after that I didn't have to, can't remember exactly. Whole swap took a couple hours including a deap cleaning. Way more comfortable than the old buckets
