Running Brake Lights Don't Work
I have an 87 toyota pickup single cab 4x4 5-speed with the 22r. I've been having a lot of my fuses pop when I had my taillights, dash lights, and radio all running off the same fuse and power. I recently rewired the radio to run off the battery. I also clipped all the trailer lights off thinking that's what caused my fuse to pop. My dash lights work, my reverse lights work, my brake lights work when you press the brake. The running brake light that should be on when I turn the light stalk isnt on. For either taillight. It's also worth noting that one taillight wouldnt work so I had run one wire from the working running brake light to the nonworking running brake light. That was done not long after purchase. But now no running taillight works. All fuses are good and I'm trying to figure out how to trouble shoot and rig up something that works. Thanks in advance.

A problem well-stated is almost solved. Exactly what fuse are you talking about?
Got a multimeter? Pls see signature.
It's difficult to help troubleshoot when we do not know what we are dealing with. I suggest you restore wiring to stock and we'll go from there.
