1990 22RE EFI temp sender (green) plug

The green plug- both wires broke at the plug. Can anyone tell me which is which green/brown wire? With clip retainer up looking at the rear brown is right, green is left.

First, it shouldn't matter. The ECT sensor is a thermistor (temperature sensitive resistor) and is not polarized.

But since you asked, from the '94 EWD for a 3VZE:



Note that the wires are shown as having a stripe (as almost every other wire in your truck has). You might need to spit on them to pick up the stripe color.
